How to upload invoices to your property management software from the Compliance Portal

 

Available to all current clients with Property Tree, PropertyMe, and Managed App integration who have granted relevant permissions. This feature removes the need to process and review invoices manually and pushes outstanding invoices into the trust system.

Integrated clients can utilise the Compliance Portal as a centralised place to review and approve outstanding invoices to be pushed through to disbursement.  

Tip

Allocate a team member to set up a weekly task and take responsibility for uploading outstanding invoices to Property Tree or PropertyMe via the Compliance Portal.

 

Initial Setup

1. Set up Integration

If you've already set up integration, you can skip this step.

Please see How to set up Integration with your property management software for details on how to set up integration between Detector Inspector and your Property Management Software (PMS).

2. Enable Integration setting ( Send Invoices )
  1. Click your name on the top right, and choose Settings.

  2. Click API Integration in the Agency settings section.



  3. If your software is already integrated with us, you can configure the integration features by clicking the Change Integration Features button.

  4. Ensure the Send Invoices setting is enabled.

3. Set up Property Management Software
Property Tree

Automatically push invoices

Property Tree can automatically push invoices directly into your property management software without manually uploading them. Let your account manager know if you would like this turned on.

  1. Set up Detector Inspector as a creditor in Property Tree.

  2. Provide your account manager with the Property Tree Account Code you would like the invoices assigned to. We'll need this to complete the setup.

  3. Your Account Manager will finalise the setup, and once complete, invoices can be pushed from the compliance portal directly to Property Tree.

Property Me
  1. Set up Detector Inspector as a supplier in Property Me.

  2. Add the Bill Account to the supplier. This allows invoices to be pushed from the compliance portal without errors occurring.

  3. Once the supplier and bill account are assigned, you can manually push invoices from the compliance portal directly to Property Me.
Managed App

Automatically push invoices

Managed App can automatically push invoices directly into your property management software without manually uploading them. Let your account manager know if you would like this turned on.

  1. Set up Detector Inspector as a supplier in Managed App. (This may already exist.)

  2. Contact Managed App support to gain access to an integration KEY ID for Detector Inspector integration.

  3. Provide your account manager with the KEY ID, and they will finalise the setup. Once complete, invoices can be pushed from the compliance portal directly to Managed App.

How to manually upload invoices from the compliance portal

Property Tree and Managed App

Property Tree and Managed App can automatically push invoices directly into your property management software without manually uploading them. Reach out to your account manager if you would like this turned on.

  1. Once setup is complete, from the Action Required menu, choose Pending Invoices.



  2. This will display all invoices yet to be paid. Use the filters below to toggle between different views.

    To be Uploaded (Default): All outstanding invoices yet to be uploaded to the property management software.
    Uploaded: Invoices that have been uploaded to the property management software.
    Pending Integration: Outstanding invoices for properties that are yet to be synced via Integration.


  3. To upload an individual invoice, click the respective mceclip0.png button located on the right-hand side of the table.

    To upload all un-uploaded outstanding invoices at once:

    1. Click the "To be Uploaded" filter located at the top
    2. Click the select all button
    3. Click the "Upload" button located on the top right 




      Please note

      The upload button is not available for properties that are yet to be synced with the property management software. However, you can download a PDF version of the invoice by clicking the download PDF button and manually adding the invoice to the portal directly. The upload feature will become available once synchronisation is complete.
