Detector Inspector agency clients can update or add new lease agreement details in the Compliance Portal by visiting the property profile.
Pro tip:
If you use API integration the property details are updated from your management software. If the details are incorrect, the property is vacant, or no details exist please update them in your management software.
- From the Dashboard (Home menu) search for the relevant property.

For the property you want to change the lease agreement, click the three dots (), and choose View Property.

Click the Tenancy Details tab.
- You can add, edit, or renew lease agreements.
Add Tenancy- Click Add tenancy.
- Enter the type, dates, and any notes regarding the lease agreement and click Next.
- Click the link to add occupants.
- Enter the occupant's name, email and phone number and click Save occupant.
- If you want to add multiple occupants click Add another occupant. Confirm the details are correct and click Next.
- Make sure everything looks good and click Confirm tenancy.
Edit Tenancy- Click the three dots ( ) and choose Edit tenancy.
- You can edit the Tenancy start date, Tenancy end date, Vacate date, and add any notes regarding the lease agreement. Click Next once the details are correct.
- Update the occupants, you can Edit, Add another occupant, or Remove occupant. Click for the option to remove an old occupant.
- Confirm the details are correct and click Confirm tenancy.
Renew Tenancy- Click the three dots ( ) and choose Renew tenancy.
- Make sure the Lease type is set to Renewal. Enter the dates and any notes regarding the lease agreement and click Next.
- Click the link to add occupants.
- Enter the occupant's name, email and phone number and click Save occupant.
- If you want to add multiple occupants click Add another occupant. Confirm the details are correct and click Next.
- Make sure everything looks good and click Confirm tenancy.
- Click Add tenancy.
